SMHC offers Outpatient Infusion Services, often referred to as IV Therapy, at its Sanford Medical Center as well as at Goodall Outpatient Services in Kennebunk.
Common services provided include antibiotics; blood transfusions; remicade for crohn’s disease or rheumatoid arthritis; iron, venofer and feraheme for anemia; steroids for MS patients; reclast and prolia for osteoporosis; ringers lactate and normal saline for dehydration; and injections (limited availability, speak with your provider).
In Sanford, infusion services are offered Monday through Friday from 8 am until 3 pm, however, arrangements are made for patients needing daily medication on weekends and 12-hour medication infusion. For more information, call (207) 490.7945 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
