SMHC Employee Annual Appeal - 2015/16
Please join us in making a difference - It all adds up!
We are honored to be leading this year’s Employee Giving campaign and hope you will be inspired to join us in this important fundraiser. We believe that we are providing great care for our community, and what we offer our neighbors in York County is of value. Giving to the annual fund is one way of showing our appreciation for all that the SMHC system does, and our pride in being a part of it. It’s also a way of investing in our future. We can help SMHC stay strong.
Last year, many of our co-workers came together and contributed over $32,000 to the annual fund. We can be proud that our contributions lead to the accomplishments and successes which make this organization an award-winning healthcare entity in our community. Please consider making a gift – the amount isn’t important. Just a few dollars a pay period, can make a difference. With over 2,200 employees, it all adds up.
As an SMHC employee, you have the option of making a gift through payroll deduction, which begins with the first pay period in January 2016, or PTO cash-out (second pay period in January 2016). As an added incentive, all donors who make a gift or pledge of $25 or more, will receive their choice of an SMHC tote bag or a teal t-shirt.
Why should I give?
Giving back sends a strong message to Foundations for which we apply for grants and the community-at-large that the SMHC family supports the health and wellbeing of the community. Not only is SMHC our employer, or the place we choose to spend our valuable time and talents, it is also the healthcare system many of us use, whether it be a regular physician appointment, or life-saving emergency care that is available to us 24 hours a day/7 days a week.
