Some of its precepts are: fitness, body/mind/spiritual/emotional integration; a means of processing life issues, and getting clear about oneself.  Participants describe Nia as making them feel "electric, warm, joyous, connected, centered, relaxed, awake, and strong."  This program is designed for all ages and abilities.  Its primary purpose is to help people slow down and heal, by providing great all-over exercise and camaraderie. Facilitated by Certified Nia Instructor Shannon Wickman, RD, LD, and funded by the SMHC Auxiliary. Pre-registration is required, please call 283-7320
