On July 15, join members of the Southern Maine Health Care (SMHC) Auxiliary at the Arundel Barn Playhouse, 53 Old Post Road, Arundel, for the “My Fair Lady" production. The curtain will rise at 8 p.m. for a lively show filled with laughter and fun.
My Fair Lady is the story of Eliza Doolittle, a cockney flower girl who becomes a bloomin’ elegant lady under the tutelage of Professor Harold Higgins. This rags-to-riches tale has characters of brain and heart, witty dialogue & a stunning score with songs like I Could Have Danced All Night, A Little Bit Of Luck, On The Street Where You Live and Wouldn’t It Be Loverly! This Lerner & Lowe’s family-friendly musical is sure to make for an exhilarating evening of live theater.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the SMHC Auxiliary’s $90,000 pledge to help renovate ten inpatient semi-private rooms to private rooms. This will ensure patient safety, increase privacy, and enhance our healing environment for patients. Each room will be equipped with a comfortable visiting area and a day bed so loved ones can stay over if they choose. We hope you will join us to help support this transformative project.
Tickets are $40 per person and may be purchased by calling Fran Morin at 284-4922 or by sending a check payable to SMHC Auxiliary to: SMHC Auxiliary – My Fair Lady, PO Box 484, Kennebunk, ME 04043. Please RSVP by July 1st and bring some friends!
