Have you ever thought of your hospital gift shop as a destination shopping spot? If not, then stop by Southern Maine Medical Center’s (SMMC) Gift Shop to see the wide variety of merchandise available. The Gift Shop will be holding a 20 percent off storewide sale (excluding cards, live flowers, candy and magazines) from Monday, December 2 through Friday, December 6. The Gift Shop is open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Sponsored by the SMHC Auxiliary and managed by volunteer Suzanne Madore, the Gift Shop is stocked with new merchandise, great for any holiday gifts you may need to purchase. Great gift items include stuffed animals, children’s toys, puzzles, picture frames, holiday ornaments, cozy scarves, jewelry and pashmina wraps just to name a few.
The Gift Shop is conveniently located right off the lobby at the main entrance of the hospital. All proceeds from gift shop sales support Auxiliary activities such as the hospitality cart for visitors, massages for cancer patients, smoking cessation classes, and renovations of the private rooms.
